The arena of Blogging was never burning such bright…thanks to the blogger’s bug whose current victims are Bollywood biggies like Amir khan, Big B and RGV to name a few. To join the bandwagon is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Her recent post is in reply to a rather dry comment on Ram Gopal Verma’s latest Sarkar Raj starring the Bachchan clan sans mother-in-law. Her blog is almost an immediate retaliation not only to the reader’s comment (a question on a particular scene of the film) but also to Ramu’s cheeky reply on the same!
While her doing so reflects the essence of an Indian Bahu (daughter-in-law) to stand by her spouse’s family in times good and bad on the one hand. On the other however, it also reflects the intolerance among the Bollywood celebrities to handle harmless criticism. I appreciate RGV’s stand to take it lightly but it seems the Bachchan clan is now too fussy about their celluloid characters as well (apart from their on-screen appearances’ so to say).
On a deeper note of course, one can’t blame the actor for getting fond of the roles he/she plays and Ash’s recent move reflects the human psyche of protecting the one whom we are fond of from world’s gaze (read critical comments in this case).
The lady’s move has started an exciting trend and we readers are eagerly waiting to see more of such stuff to juice up our virtual world. After all, who doesn’t enjoy watching two people in argument?
