Rowling sobbingly bid-adieus Potter…
Best-selling author J.K. Rowling was all tears when she penned down the end of her final book in the Harry Potter series. “I was sobbing my heart out — I downed half a bottle of champagne from the mini bar in one and went home with mascara all over my face. That was really tough.”

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is the seventh and final book about the schoolboy wizard Harry Potter and his Hogwarts friends.

More than 325 million copies of the first six books have been sold worldwide, helping to turn Rowling into the first dollar-billionaire author. She herself admitted it had been a “hell of an achievement.”

The Deathly Hallows appears on the bookshelves on July 21, but 1.6 million copies have been pre-ordered online.

Huge publishing event

Publishers have gone to great lengths to protect the contents of the last Harry Potter book until its release, which promises to be one of the biggest events in publishing history.

Mystery about the ending

Rowling sobbingly bid-adieus Potter…
Speculation has been rife about who dies in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” since Rowling announced last year that at least two characters would be killed off.

She has given no clue as to who they were, and even Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who plays boy wizard Harry in the Hollywood adaptations of the books, has been kept in the dark.

J.K. Rowling has leaked the ending of the eagerly awaited last book of her Harry Potter series — to her husband.
